In the role of Outside Sales Representative, you will be eligible to participate in Anixter's car expense reimbursement and allowance program.

Position Description

This role is focused on developing and supporting Channel Partners

in the Security market - CCTV, Access Control, Fire Detection, Intrusion

and Networking products

  • Develop and maintain current customers and new customer account

contacts while seeking to grow revenue and gross profits.

  • Provide superior customer service by delivering products and services

to meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Build strong customer relationships, loyalty, and retention.

  • Work effectively with others in a team based environment to accomplish

organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.

  • Create mindshare and generate business with the Channel Partners

by spending a significant amount of time in the field.

  • Account Mapping - gain an

understanding of the Channel Partners

  • Identify opportunities to

sell new products within existing customer base

  • Identify opportunity to

position products and service that will provide a new revenue stream for the

Channel Partner.

  • Successfully managing

multiple partners who compete against one another.

  • Assist with providing

training as needed

  • Drive Revenue

  • Assist Channel Partner in closing business

  • Discover and drive new

opportunities with the Channel Partners and Anixter Sales team

  • Utilize Anixter and Vendor

resources as needed to drive revenue.

Y our sales skills need be unrivaled, but it also helps if you have

  • Bachelors degree in a related major is preferred

  • Several years of outside sales experience in our industry is preferred

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
