Anixter is seeking a
ServiceNow Service Solution Architect to guide and lead the delivery and
maintenance of a ServiceNow ITSMtransformation.
As a ServiceNow Architect, you
will design, develop, and implement solutions that enable Anixter to - replace
legacy manual processes, quickly find/order what they are looking for,
detect/report/resolve issues in time, manage and monitor success of their own
services, eliminate gaps, identify opportunities for growth and huge savings
and so much more...
Lead the design, development,configuration, and maintenance of enterprise Service Management solutions usingServiceNow. Accountable for technical solutions proposed/implemented and allchanges pushed to production environment
Oversee in the design andmaintenance of a global configuration management database(CMDB) in ServiceNow
Deliver passionate, persuasive,strategic, and technically competent ServiceNow expertise to our global userand customer base
Serve as the Subject MatterExpert(SME) on ServiceNow. Advise customers/users on workflow design
Manage workload of an offshoredevelopment team. Provide functional guidance in their day-to-day activities.Advise them on following best practices and industry standards.
Development effort includes(but not limited to) enhancements, customized portal webpages, portalconsolidation, automated workflow solutions, advanced scripting of businessrules, UI policies, client scripts, 3 rd party softwareintegrations, bi-directional API-based solutions etc.
Lead administration ofServiceNow instances(environment sync, upgrades, quarterly patches etc.)
Stay current with capabilitiesof ServiceNow platform. Be proactive about knowledge sharing
Assist in defining servicemanagement strategy for the enterprise Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computerscience, computer engineering, management information systems, relateddiscipline, or equivalent experience
5+ years of professionalexperience in design and development in ServiceNow
Certified ServiceNowApplication Developer
Systemintegration experience using web services and other web based technologies suchas XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP
Deepunderstanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities
Expert knowledge of ITSM andITIL
Experience implementingbest-practices and procedures Required Skills and Abilities
Demonstratedleadership, teamwork, and collaboration in a diverse professional setting
Ability to handle multipletasks and deliver them on time, exhibiting a high degree of proactive“hands-on” thinking and acting
Independentmotivated self-starter with strong work-ethic
