Position Description

Bonus Administration

Responsible for accurate and timely preparation of the bonuses for all employees

  • Draft Bonus Plans in coordination with the Finance Directors

  • Generate reports and scorecards to calculate bonuses

  • Maintain the Bonus database and the Anixter Performance Tracking System

  • Prepare bonus accruals and annual bonus budgets

  • Respond to questions from the employees

  • Respond to audit requests and questions

  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as required by sales managers, sales reps and Finance

Financial Analysis

Assist the Finance Director in generating financial reports and analyzing financial data

  • Prepare the monthly consolidated forecasting reports and the monthly business review

  • Variance analysis

  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as required by the Finance Director

Payroll Accounting

Responsible for the accurate recording of the payroll transactions and accounts

  • Prepare weekly payroll journal entries

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliation of the payroll accounts

  • Generate the labour cost reports

  • Respond to audit requests and questions

Job Requirements

  • Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting and/or Business(or comparable relevant experience)

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills(e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access

  • Strong math and analytical skills

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly detail-oriented

  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
