Job Summary:

Our Winnipeg office is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to provide customer service and develop new business opportunities while providing exceptional service to existing dealers. The successful candidate will be a consummate and credible sales professional selling Security products and solutions to professional security dealer.

Job duties

  • Present Anixter/Tri-Ed to potential clients through proactive outbound calls

  • Identify potential dealers and develop and implement a detailed account strategy for each of them

  • Uncover new opportunities and expand your contacts within existing accounts

  • Successfully manage the sales process; from lead generation, solution pitch, negotiation, closing the order and providing post sales support

  • Responsible for new and existing business. You are expected to be autonomous however you will work in close collaboration with your supervisor for complex pitches and strategies

  • Manage and maintain a pipeline and ensure all sales administration is up to date using our software

  • Respond to quotations and requests for information in a timely manner

Job Requirements:

Reporting directly to the branch manager, the successful candidate for this position will possess:

Experience & Education:

  • Certificate or diploma in a related discipline, such as industrial(preferred)

  • Sales experience in Security(preferred)

  • Security product distribution experience(preferred)

  • Security system design experience(preferred)

Job-specific knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of CCTV, intrusion and access control products an asset

  • MS Office

  • Excellent ability to communicate in English(written and spoken)
